Internationale aansluiting en erkenning van onze sportschool

Als sportschool zijn wij aangesloten bij- en erkend door de IKOK. International Karate Organization KyokushinKaikan, waarvan het hoofdkantoor zich in Tokyo Japan bevindt. Hieronder vind u meer informatie. Voor uitgebreidere info kunt u de Japanse website bezoeken. IKOK wordt ook wel IKO Sosai genoemd uit respect voor de oprichter Mas Oyama Sosai.

» About IKO Kyokushinkaikan

IKO Kyokushinkaikan Custodian Kikuko (Kuristina) Oyama Born in Tokyo on October 21st, 1971 Kikuko Oyama is the third daughter of Sosai. She spent many years abroad studying, and now devotes her days to the protection and reconstruction of Kyokushinkaikan.

IKO Kyokushinkaikan Kancho Yoshikazu Suzuki Born in Tokyo on February 13th, 1971 1985 - Began training at the Kyokushin Josai Branch 2000 - Joined So-Honbu 2009 - Appointed Kancho "Let's develop our bodies and minds through Kyokushin karate!"

IKO Kyokushinkaikan Executive Committee Chairman Miyake Susumu Born in China on November 28th, 1927 1975 - Joined So-Honbu dojo at the age of 47. Worked closely alongside Sosai as Technical Director at Black Belt Gradings, and Executive Committee Chairman at World Tournaments and All Japan Tournaments. "Let's all join together and continue to pursue the never ending path of Kyokushin!"

The International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan is the original and sole legal entity representing Mas Oyama's Karate. So-honbu and it's affiliated members function as a direct connection to the lineage and source of Kyokushin Karate, and it's original spiritual and physical teachings, as taught by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama.

The IKO Kyokushinkaikan aims to promote a cooperative and inspiring environment for everyone, regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion or economical circumstances, to realize his/her fullest potential spiritually and physically through the Budo Karate of Sosai Mas Oyama.

The primary goals of the IKOK are:

• To preserve the original philosophy and teachings of Sosai Mas Oyama.
• To honor the honbu established by Sosai Mas Oyama as the spiritual home of Kyokushin Karate and IKO Kyokushinkaikan headquaters and to preserve so-honbu for all future generations.
• To ensure the very highest of teaching and training standards amongst its representatives worldwide to maintain Kyokushin's integrity and standardization.
• To progagate the true values of Budo; honesty, loyalty, humility, courage, effort, filial piety, consideration for others, wise discrimination and balance.
